Coming soon on SITECourse Overview
The Construction Safety & Health course provides a practical introduction to core safety topics for workers on construction and maintenance sites. Using OSHA construction standards as a framework, this course focuses on recognizing common jobsite hazards and applying sensible controls to prevent injuries.
Participants learn how to select and use personal protective equipment (PPE), work safely on ladders, ramps, stairways, and scaffolds, and reduce risks from slips, trips, and falls. The course also covers safe use of hand tools, basic electrical safety, excavation and trenching hazards, hearing conservation, hazard communication, and safe handling of drums, cylinders, and materials.
By the end of the course, workers have a solid baseline understanding of construction safety expectations, can identify key hazards before they become incidents, and are better prepared to work safely as part of a crew.
